WIP 0626 – Ahri Pornstar 2

Hey everybody!

I’m happy to announce that her rig is completed and ready for animation!

Here’s some nerdy talk about how things are setup lol

I’m sharing with you guys a little animation to test out the rig and I’m pretty happy with how it turned out! There are some new fancy under the hood, which is the use of the Noodle plugin to handle the physics in “real-time”. I quoted as there’s no actual real-time on AE but the jiggle reacts to the parent controllers and gets updated along.

Also for the tails (why she must have this many!! 😩) I used Duik FK to handle the movement in terms of handling it’s behavior and Duik Swing to automate their movements. The enhance part comes with it’s 3Dish movement, which is done using Re:Flex with the Global Distortion connected to the Duik Swing, so everything is automated along

Also, I went ahead and decided to do the composite for the render as I rather share the material featuring it’s final quality (and it saves me some time later once the animation is finished and I can just re-use this version).

I like to share the original vs composited version to show the importance of enhance the quality of your artwork once everything is finished, think of this part as the “make-up” of your art. Which is meant to enhance what’s already done and look even better.

That’s not just for animation but for art in general. There’s a big chance that once you finish your drawing, the colors might be a little off and with a simple Curves (or Levels) adjustment you can add a little contrast and make things “pop” more. It’s like seasoning food, a little bit of extra adjusts can bring your art to another level.

WIP 0410: Naomi got her milk

Hey everybody! It’s been a while since my last post, many IRL stuff happened and it caused this massive delay on our project, but I’ve been working on it everyday nonetheless!

Overall progress is about 90% concluded:

  • Animations are about 95% finished
  • 5% remaining means the final tweaks in some of the contact poses and adjust the boobies physics
  • Update the Animatic for the VAs record over the final animation/timing
  • Sound Effects
  • Composite + Mixing
  • Release

WIP 0209 – Naomi Animatic

Hey everybody!

For the first time, I’ve prepared an animatic of the animation before doing the whole thing lol

That’s how animation is meant to be produced in first place, but as usually our projects are simple loops and very simple (and usually silly dialogue), I end up just making the whole cinematic and handle it to the VAs to dub over.

This time is different tho, as I’ll be adapting the script from Aster and we’ll also have for the first time Japanese VAs! Aster will be directing them, although I left some extra instructions in the animatic itself to help them all.

For those who don’t know what an animatic is, that’s the part where the storyboard is adapted into video format so the team can determine how long each shot will take, and in our case it’ll also be the base for the VAs to dub their lines.

The goal here isn’t about quality but timing πŸ™‚

WIP 1104: Android21 – face rig process

Hey everybody!

Head + Face rig

What I try to achieve with the character face is to give 3D-ish movement, otherwise it’ll just look as a flat plane moving around (as this is what you get right out of the box when working with 2D puppets anyway)

So here’s a breakdown how it’s made:

I like to create a fake mesh guide with shape layers over the head layer so I can better visualize how the face will be distorted. For the distortion itself of the head, I use a single Mesh Warp effect and set the extreme poses of Left > Center (the original) > Right, same goes for the vertical but Up/Down instead. For the face features I rather leave them in a different composition and adjust the parts accordingly, for the mouth is simply a matter of moving it’s position. Now for the eyes/brows I like to also animate it’s Scale X value to fake the depth, so the closer it’s to the camera, the higher the X value is and vice versa for the opposite direction. I know some of the extremes are looking too extreme and even a bit distorted lol but I don’t mind as I usually don’t push the poses in the animation this far.

One important note here, if you look closely, you’ll notice that her head rotation in the mesh preview is different from the one in the animation, which is following the original drawing. The reason for that it’s because it makes the rig process easier as I only have to deal with the raw horizontal/vertical positions inside the pre-composed layers, if it was following the original rotation, I would need to deal with these rigs in a diagonal matter and it would be a nightmare to get them right. So always before hand I rotate the artwork to give a straight alignment and in the rig I rotate the parts back to it’s original version, it’s actually quite simply but can save you a lot of stress, sweat and blood tears in the process.

Once everything is set, I use the Duik Connector 2D Slider, for those familiar with the Joystick and Sliders, it’s pretty much the same, although the Duik script works with the keyframes instead the properties values. It allows you to work with effects that doesn’t deal with explicit values, which is the case of Mesh Warp, as you can’t see the number values of the individual vertices and gives you only a single keyframe.

Now that the head and face are rigged, everything else that’s connected to it, as the hair, glasses and ear earrings will follow the same movement, it’s a laborious process and takes a good amount of time, specially when you’ve many hair meshes to deal with. It usually takes me about one or two days just to get everything setup

There are so many other parts I want to cover but for now that’s all the time I can spare to share this info.

WIP 0729: Palutena Jiggle

Hey everybody!

It took me a while to post this, as I’ve finished the rig but had to go back and forth many times to get this right.

At first when I picked up this project I thought: “well, let me pick something easier to animate this time. It’s gonna be a simple loop of she jiggling her tatas after all, shouldn’t be that hard…”

Now all I’m like this:

I get this just right for you guys, don’t worry! It’s not the first time I deal with hands in contact with a booba anyway

I’ve been talking with Kaos about making this animation lewder, if things works well, expect a good alternate version for it πŸ™‚

WIP 0531 – Asuna & Karin – Final

Hey everybody!

We’re so close to finish up this project!

What’s finished?

  • All the animations, including the Bukkake version (as the preview of this post) as well the extra hidden character

What’s next?

  • Hiring the VAs to do their magical moans
  • Sound effects
  • Composite – there isn’t that much to do on this part, but it’s always possible to push the quality bar a little further anyway (and because it’s fun to do so haha)
  • Prepare all the render variations, there should a lot of them for this project!

I can’t give you guys an exactly release date, but it should be out in the next two weeks!

WIP 0501 – Asuna & Karin

Hey everybody!

I’m happy to announce that the rigging phase is finally done!
(okay, I still need to fix a few things, but that’s part of the usual rig maintenance lol)

This rig was very very VERY challenging! I would say it was composed by 4,5 characters! lol the half one will be something you guys will found out only when the project is released πŸ˜‰

So yea, rigging 2,5 girls is very timing consuming, as its 4 pair of boobies, 4 eyes, 2 faces to make move around and lots of hair! At least the way Siu drew the third girl, it was possible to use the same rig of Karin, so it helped a lot! (that’s why she counts as half lol)

Here are some of the rigging features, I know some of you nerds really like to see how things works under the hood πŸ™‚

All the following setups were achieved using native effects from After Effects , the only third party stuff were scripts and they are open source, so no big deal.

That magical box with the face icon is provided by the Duik – Connector 2D Slider. I set the the extreme poses of the face in both vertical and horizontal, the script in handles the interpolation for these poses.
For the face shape, I used the Mesh Warp effect, as it’s easier to control and adjust their shape than using Liquify for example. All the other facial features pretty much follows the face movement by setting up their position and scale (animated separately using the Split values script from Duik). Manipulating the scale helps to create a fake depth, as you can stretch or shrink it based on how far that part is from the camera.
I also added some extra movement for the head by setting poses on the Head and Neck bones, as these parts also moves a bit we move our head around.

The face icon is there just for cosmetic, I added it manually as a shape haha

That’s a fancy but very simple one! haha The bulge part (the one that’s pushing her button belly upwards) is done with our good ol’ friend CC Smear. There’s a distance between the From/To points and I connected the Reach value to the slider by multiplying it by 0.01, so it has the same value as it would be a percentage (that’s my master degree in math for artists)!
The bulge shape is a copy of the penis using the Set Matte effect in a solid layer and use the Effects and Mask from the Matte layer, so you don’t have to worry about duplicating the original layer and all that annoying stuff, specially as we don’t need to show the layer anyway. I added a couple of Simple Choker effect to make it smooth out the shape.
Once this is set, all I’d to do is add the Bevel and Emboss layer style and play around with the setting to look smooth. Lastly I connected the Depth value to the slider controller.
Playing around with the value gives this result, I really liked how it turned out!

Next up is make the bulge actually follow the PP tip! Well, that’s the easy part πŸ™‚
Remember that From/To of the CC Smear? I simply connected the “To” value to follow the position of the penis tip bone. All the rest happens automatically, as the bulge shape layer is the copy of the original penis.
(the rig is actually quite heavy, I edited the footage to be 6x faster so it looks like as almost real-time lol oh AE….)

You can also see that her legs are following the dude’s hips, that’s the power of IK! After setting the controllers, I just set them as child of the dude’s hips and that’s it!

Lastly is the fancy add-on of Bukkake!

Siu handed me the file with a ton of variations, and one of them was the bukkake haha It required a bit of extra setup but I think it was worth!

The boobies are jiggling around just for extra flavoring!

The project can be finally handled to the animation department (aka, also me)!
Sorry for taking so long to finishing up this part, usually the rig takes far more time to setup and the animation itself, specially by the fact that having a good rig can save a lot of work during animation part.

WIP 0403 – Asuna & Karin

Hey everybody!

The project is going smoothly, For the last two weeks I spent translating, cutting and preparing the artwork for not just the two but actually three girls haha yeah, there was an extra character inside the file Siu sent me. I decided to keep her as even though it’s from an anime, I know many of you will be happy to see her getting nailed along with Asuna πŸ™‚

I’m currently working on the rigging, mostly of Karin’s body is already set and now I’m tweaking her breasts, once this one is fine tuned all other tatas will be set up in the same way.

WIP 0131 – Lillie on Hut: Day 3 – Last post before release


Hey everybody!

I’m happy to announce that her animation is now completed! As this started a small project, Day 1 had about 1.2 seconds of loop animation, this one have about 18 seconds of continuous animation, so yea, it’s pretty big hahaha I guess that’s my standard for projects, start small but always ended up extracting the maximum of the illustration can offer

For this project I want to do something special for the end, specially as it turned into such a nice trilogy! Please look forward for something familiar hahaha

The plan is to release it around the end of February, as I still need to draw the special ending and then hand it over for the SFX guy and sexy VA.

Please look forward it! I can’t wait to share it with you guys!

WIP 1214 – Lillie on Hut: Day 3 – Loops

Hey everybody!

Here’s a little tease for what’s cumming with lil Lillie project!

Project will be pushed a little further as I intended to give more shots and explorer Lillie thoughts deeper

My initial goal was to release this project on the second week of December, right before everybody vanishes for the usual Christmas/News Year Eve madness season, but I’ve failed with you guys, I’m sorry!

What happened was that I decided to extend the scope of this project a bit further, adding a few more shots so we can further explore what’s going on into Lillie’s lewd mind πŸ‘€πŸ’¦

Here are some full previews, keep in mind that they still work in progress, so there’s a bunch of stuff that I’m not entirely happy and will fix before the end of the animation, like her hair haha

And here are some additional poses/expressions that I’ve been playing around, haven’t been fully animated yet, so I’ll post just the key poses

I’ll continue to work on it for the next weeks and set the new release goal to be at the beginning of next month, although I’ll also depend on the VA’s and SFX guy schedule as well, but we’ll see!

Please look forward for this project, as it’s intended to be her last day on hut, I want to make it special for both Lillie and you guys! <3
