Here’s some nerdy talk about how things are setup lol
I’m sharing with you guys a little animation to test out the rig and I’m pretty happy with how it turned out! There are some new fancy under the hood, which is the use of the Noodle plugin to handle the physics in “real-time”. I quoted as there’s no actual real-time on AE but the jiggle reacts to the parent controllers and gets updated along.
Also for the tails (why she must have this many!! 😩) I used Duik FK to handle the movement in terms of handling it’s behavior and Duik Swing to automate their movements. The enhance part comes with it’s 3Dish movement, which is done using Re:Flex with the Global Distortion connected to the Duik Swing, so everything is automated along

Also, I went ahead and decided to do the composite for the render as I rather share the material featuring it’s final quality (and it saves me some time later once the animation is finished and I can just re-use this version).
I like to share the original vs composited version to show the importance of enhance the quality of your artwork once everything is finished, think of this part as the “make-up” of your art. Which is meant to enhance what’s already done and look even better.
That’s not just for animation but for art in general. There’s a big chance that once you finish your drawing, the colors might be a little off and with a simple Curves (or Levels) adjustment you can add a little contrast and make things “pop” more. It’s like seasoning food, a little bit of extra adjusts can bring your art to another level.
